In the fifth match of PSL Six, Multan Sultans gave Peshawar Zalmi a target of 194 runs to win thanks to Vince’s aggressive batting.
In the match being played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Zalmai’s captain won the toss and invited the Sultans to bat, and decided to field first.
When the opening pair of Chris Lane and Mohammad Rizwan started the innings, Chris Lane returned to the pavilion for just 5 runs.
On the second wicket, the captain and Vance batted responsibly, adding 83 runs and setting up a big score. Mohammad Rizwan played lightning fast innings, he scored 41 off 28 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 3 fours.
On the third wicket, James Owens and Sohaib Maqsood charged the bat and quickly added runs. Sohaib Maqsood added 36 runs while Vince remained at one end and kept playing shorts around the ground.
He scored 84 off just 55 balls, including three sixes and nine fours. Multanz scored 193 for 4 in the allotted overs.
For Peshawar Zalmai, Saqib Maqsood took 2 wickets while Mohammad Imran and Mohammad Irfan took one wicket each.
Both the teams have lost their first match. Peshawar Zalmi was defeated by Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans by Islamabad United.
The two teams met six times in the PSL, with Multan Sultan winning four matches and Peshawar Zalmi winning two.
In the points table of Pakistan Super League Six, Lahore Qalandar is at the first position with two consecutive victories, defending champions Karachi Kings are at the second position and Islamabad United is at the third position.
